World Money Rolls Out Stablecoin Super App Across 150+ Countries
World Money is becoming a broad stablecoin distribution surface, but the headline rollout is not the same thing as universal access. World itself says features and eligibility vary by country, so SOG keeps global product availability separate from asset-by-asset and jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction access claims.
World began rolling out World Money in more than 150 countries on September 17, 2026. The first-party launch describes a self-custodial financial app that combines stablecoin balances, digital-asset transfers, funding, earning, trading and Mini Apps in one interface.
The same announcement explicitly warns that features and eligibility vary by country. That qualifier is central to SOG's treatment: a 150+ country app rollout is not evidence that every stablecoin, fiat rail, Earn program, bank withdrawal option or trading feature is available in every one of those countries.
World says the World Money home screen centers stablecoin balances and supports balances across eight currencies. Its current Help Center separately describes Local Stablecoins as on-chain tokens that mirror local fiat currencies and says supported Local Stablecoins can be bought, deposited, withdrawn, sent and received where the relevant app and ramp support exists.
The Help Center gives wARS as a Local Stablecoin example. A separate World virtual-account page identifies specific current routes: a U.S. USD virtual account converts incoming funds into USDC; an Argentina virtual account maps ARS to wARS; and a Colombia virtual account maps COP to wCOP. Mexico's listed virtual-account flow maps MXN to WLD rather than to a stablecoin.
SOG's Market Access model is deliberately narrower than a marketing rollout claim. The canonical unit is an asset × jurisdiction × platform/service × function × state × effective date. World Money's own documentation says cash-in and cash-out availability depends on country and local providers.
For that reason, SOG does not translate “150+ countries” into 150+ stablecoin access rows. Specific routes such as U.S. USD→USDC, Argentina ARS→wARS and Colombia COP→wCOP can be researched independently because the provider documentation binds the jurisdiction, currency and digital asset. Other countries require their own source-backed function review.
World's launch announcement says Stripe is the default funding provider for a redesigned World Money flow beginning in the United States. Users can use Apple Pay to convert everyday money into stablecoins that typically arrive in the wallet within minutes.
This is a U.S.-scoped funding route, not evidence that the Stripe/Apple Pay flow is already active across the full 150+ country rollout. SOG therefore treats it as a distribution and market-access signal rather than as a universal stablecoin availability claim.
World Money's Earn feature lets users deposit supported assets into on-chain lending programs. Current World support material names examples including WLD, USDC, wETH and wBTC and states that the rates come from protocol provider Morpho. Availability varies by region, and World warns that on-chain smart-contract and market risks remain.
That means the stablecoin balance layer and the yield layer should not be collapsed into one claim. Holding or transferring a stablecoin in World Money does not automatically mean that the same asset is eligible for Earn in the user's jurisdiction.
World's MiniKit documentation names a broader set of local stablecoins usable in Mini Apps, including wARS, wCOP, wMXN, wBRL, wPEN and wCLP, alongside EURC. Ripio separately identifies the six wFIAT assets as 1:1-backed local-currency stablecoins for Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Chile.
That does not prove that every one of those assets is exposed through every World Money surface today. SOG therefore keeps the questions separate: the asset can exist canonically, World Chain or Mini Apps can support it, and World Money can expose a country-specific balance or ramp. Each layer needs its own evidence.

| Are all stablecoins and all functions available in all 150+ countries? | No. World explicitly says feature and eligibility availability varies by country. |
Current SOG treatment: material stablecoin distribution and market-access analysis, not a blanket 150-country canonical access expansion.
The World Money rollout is important because stablecoin balances, local-currency rails, fiat funding, bank withdrawal and DeFi yield are being bundled into one self-custodial consumer application. But the canonical registry still requires narrower evidence before attaching a stable asset to a particular country and function.
SOG will separately review the World/Ripio local-stablecoin family and any jurisdiction-specific World Money routes that meet the canonical Market Access contract.
